Super Bowl LI preview: Atlanta Falcons vs New England Patriots

The Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots will play in Super Bowl LI at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX on Sunday, Feb. 5. The Falcons come into this game with the league's top offense while the Patriots come in with the top defense.

This is the sixth Super Bowl in which this matchup has occurred. In the previous six meetings, the team with the top defense is 4-1. However, Atlanta has scored the eighth most points in a season in NFL history.

This game could either be a close game like Super Bowl XLIX was in 2015 between the Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. This game could also be a blowout like Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014 between the Seahawks and Denver Broncos. Only time will tell. Either way, an NFL champion will be crowned Sunday, and the world will be watching.
