Green Bay Packers 2016 Season Preview

The Green Bay Packers had a terrible season, although many would call it a successful one. The team got off to a 6-0 start. Had they not succeeded on a Hail Mary in Detroit, they would have finished 3-7 in their final 10 games. Instead, they finished 4-6.

They also fell behind 11-0 in their wild card game against the Washington Redskins and needed another Hail Mary to force overtime against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Packers can not repeat that kind of season in 2016. They have their star wide receiver in Jordy Nelson back after he tore his ACL last preseason. They will have a skinnier running back in Eddie Lacy, who dropped 30 pounds over the offseason.

There are no excuses for this team. They need to show that they are one of the top teams in the NFL this year or there could be changes occurring.
