Three Colts players have been selected to the 2015 Pro Bowl (Jan. 31, 7:00 ET, ESPN) as replacements for players who either are playing in Super Bowl 50 or withdrew due to injury or some other reason. Colts CB Vontae Davis, S Mike Adams, and WR TY Hilton were each selected to this year's Pro Bowl. HOFers Jerry Rice and Michael Irvin will select teams Wednesday.
Davis, who replaces Broncos CB Chris Harris, Jr. (SB50), had 4 INT and 38 tackles in 16 games in 2015. It was another solid year for Vontae, who has solidified himself as one of the game's top CB.
Adams, who replaces Seattle S Kam Chancellor, had 5 INT (1 returned), 3 forced fumbles, and 52 tackles in 13 games in 2015. He missed a few games with a hamstring injury, but had his best year as a Colt and was one of the game's top safeties.
Hilton, who replaces Arizona WR Larry Fitzgerald (injury), had 69 REC, 1124 YDS, and 5 TD in 16 games in 2015. TY, along with Donte Moncrief, led a receiving core that was expected to be one of the best in the league but dealt with many QB changes, including losing star QB Andrew Luck for most of the season.
