Ranking the Super Bowls, #25: Super Bowl 50

For the 50th anniversary of the Super Bowl, the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers met at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA on Feb. 7, 2016. The Panthers were coming off a 15-1 season, while the Broncos were coming off an 11-5 season in which they were in a Week 17 scenario where they could miss the playoffs entirely.

The game started out as a defensive battle, but after a strip sack was returned for a touchdown, the Broncos took a 10-0 lead into the second quarter. The Panthers would fight back and the Broncos lead was just 13-7 at halftime.

With four minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Panthers were driving down four when 2011 #2 overall pick Von Miller stripped 2011 #1 overall pick Cam Newton of the ball and the Broncos recovered. They would score another touchdown to secure a 24-10 win.
