2016 AFC West Preview

The Denver Broncos won the AFC West en route to their win in Super Bowl 50 last season. This season, the AFC West looks almost completely different.

Oakland Raiders

After a 7-9 season in which quarterback Derek Carr really broke out with the help of wide receivers Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree, the Raiders are looking like clear-cut favorites to win the West in 2016.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs won 11 straight games after starting their season 1-5. While they may not win 11 straight games again, the Chiefs will still be a dangerous team in the division.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos team that won the Super Bowl is, in head coach Gary Kubiak's words, "dead". This team has lost a lot of starters from last season, the most important being Peyton Manning.

San Diego Chargers

The only thing the Chargers have to be hopeful for is that running back Melvin Gordon actually scores a touchdown next season. Other than that, they have no chance in winning the AFC West.
