1. Week 1: Dallas Cowboys vs Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams will make their return to the city of Angels in the second game of Week 1. While Week 1 usually isn’t very exciting, this game will be the very first NFL game played in LA in 21 years. Rams fans will get their first look at new full time starting quarterback Case Keenum. Also, running back Todd Gurley will kick off his second NFL season. Also, two new look defenses will get a chance to go up against each other.Tony Romo will also be making his return from collarbone surgery. Even though the main players won’t play for the most of the game, the game is intriguing because of the Rams return to LA.

2. Week 3: Cincinnati Bengals vs Jacksonville Jaguars

The revamped Jaguars taking on the AFC North Division champion Cincinnati Bengals will make for a very convincing matchup. Both quarterbacks, Blake Bortles and Andy Dalton are rising stars in the league. Both teams have bruising running backs in Jeremy Hill and Chris Ivory. If you needed more intriguing offensive matchups, Jags wide receiver Allen Robinson and Bengals receiver A.J. Green are both stars in the NFL. A new look Jags defense will look to attack the Bengals offense, while the Bengals defense will look to do the same. With the game being in Week 3, we’ll be able to see these players for a good portion of the game. This game is very easily the most convincing matchup of Week 3.

3. Week 2: Minnesota Vikings vs Seattle Seahawks

The Vikings and the Seahawks will play for the first time since January, when the Seahawks came back to defeat the Vikings 10-9. The game won’t be in frigid conditions like the last time. Two rising quarterbacks, Teddy Bridgewater and Russell Wilson will go at it again. The Seahawks will play their second game with new running back Thomas Rawls, who broke out last season before breaking his ankle in Baltimore. The running back on the other side is none other than Adrian Peterson. Also, both defenses will look to replicate a similar game to the one in January. While it won’t have the same intensity as last time, we should still be seeing a very quality game in Week 2.

4. Week 4: New England Patriots vs New York Giants

It’s a Brady-Manning matchup in the preseason! Tom Brady and Eli Manning will go at it again in Week 4 of the preseason. Two revamped rosters and two great quarterbacks will make for one of the better games of the preseason. A rejuvenated Giants defense that includes Olivier Vernon will go up against a new and improved Patriots offense. New England added players such as wide receiver Nate Washington and tight end Martellus Bennett to their offense. This same matchup was an instant classic last season, and we hope to see something similar in this game.

5. Week 3: New England Patriots vs Carolina Panthers

In this matchup, we’ve got arguably the best quarterback of all time, vs the best quarterback in the NFL right now. Tom Brady vs Cam Newton, there isn’t much better than that. Being in Week 3, we’ll get to see these quarterbacks duel for a good amount of time. The Panthers defense will go up against a rejuvenated Patriots offense. This very easily could be the matchup for Super Bowl LI.
