The Story of the 2015 Buffalo Bills

"I'm not a Super Bowl-wining head coach, but I'm getting ready to be. It's gonna happen."

Those were the words of Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan. Unfortunately for the Bills, they were eliminated from playoff contention after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bills had a C-average season in 2015, winning some games by big margins, and also losing some games by big margins.

As per usual, the Bills defense could not go up against the top teams in the league, such as Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals or even Eli Manning and the New York Giants. The Bills were weak against those teams.

Things did look promising after a dominating Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts, however. The Colts proved that any one could really beat them, so the Bills win over Indy isn't much to brag about in the city of Buffalo.

One game to remember how bad the Bills season got was when they went to London to play the Jacksonville Jaguars. They were outscored in the second quarter 27-10. They even only beat the two-win Tennessee Titans by a mere point.

The Bills finished the 2015 season with a 8-8 record and missed the playoffs, just as Rex's Jets team did in 2011 after he said that team would win a Super Bowl. With brother Rob Ryan as his defensive coordinator, maybe the Bills defense will step it up a notch in 2016.
