The Story of the 2015 Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys were off to a very fast start in 2015, starting the season 2-0 after a win in Philadelphia over the Eagles. But with that win came a loss. Quarterback Tony Romo suffered a hairline fracture in his collarbone. He would miss the next seven weeks of the season.

In his absence, two quarterbacks led the team. Brandon Weeden went 0-3 in his three starts and Matt Cassel, who the Cowboys acquired from the Buffalo Bills, went 0-4. The Cowboys went from 2-0 to 2-7 in a blink of an eye.

Romo returned as the Cowboys traveled to Miami to take on the Dolphins. Romo threw two touchdowns in a win. In their Thanksgiving game against the Carolina Panthers, Romo suffered another hairline fracture in his collarbone, ending his season.

The Cowboys would finish the season with a 4-12 record, the worst record since they finished 1-15 in 1989, owner Jerry Jones' first season with the team. They are hopeful Romo can stay healthy in 201 6 and the Cowboys can get back on track.
